Winnie the Hoop is the debut release of Teo Tuominen, a Finnish type and graphic designer. The typeface is inspired by a certain well-known teddy bear. Winnie the Hoop is above all happy and meant to be used in happy publications as well. Using this font to communicate a sad or grave message is not recommended.
Winnie the Hoop is a combination of chubby sans-serif capitals and semi-slab lowercase. This feature makes text set in capitals easy to read and ads some useful contrast between capitals and the slightly quirky lowercase letters.
Winnie the Hoop is best suited for large sizes, headlines, posters, and advertisements (as long as they’re happy!).
Great Victorian was designed based on the typefaces called Euclid and Euclid Initials issued by Cleveland type foundry in the late 19th century.
The letterform is amazingly elegant and the combinations of each style are very versatile enough to be used in any part of your document and graphic.
Great Victorian font family comes in three varieties: Standard, Swashed and Swashed SC. Standard includes antique styled capitals and lowercases. Swashed includes same lowercases but capital letters have elegant swashes. Swashed SC include swashed capitals and small capitals instead of lowercases. All styles are the most suitable for retro, nostalgic or steampunk designs.
